Frequently Asked Questions
The purpose of this Insights Bank is to provide a single location for storing and sharing insights we gathered from our patients, public or communities, making it easier for us all to access and use the information to inform decision-making. An Insights Bank can also help ensure that knowledge and insights are not lost or forgotten over time, and can be used to identify trends and patterns over time.
It is open and accessible to all but we have built it with health care professionals and the voluntary and community sector in mind as we want to better enable the design, and delivery of services that meet the needs of our populations and communities.
It is really important for us to engage and listen to the residents of South Yorkshire and we need to know what our population thinks and feels about the services we provide and the factors that influence their health. This Insight bank is our way to gather, store and share the information we have gathered from across all our partners in the ICS.
The aim is for the Insights Bank to be publicly available therefore we asking that people only share materials that could be publicly viewed and therefore no identifiable data should be shared unless you have the permission to share publicly. We are anticipating that people therefore share completed reports or publications rather than raw data collected directly from individuals.
The more reports we have in the Insights Bank, greater the opportunity to make sure we can listen to what people have told us and use that to improve services and outcomes. Once the Insight Bank is up and running we expect it will:
- Make it easy for you to find information without the need to waste time and effort looking for information, all our key insights in one place.
- Help you deliver on your core mission and amplify the voices of those you have supported and heard from.
- Make it easy for you to get information to help build business cases or funding applications to help you deliver the things that are important to you and your community.
